The
fifth International Conference on the Environmental and Technical Implications
of Construction with Alternative Materials "WASCON 2003” will
take place in San Sebastián, Spain in 4, 5 & 6 June 2003.
 The major demand
for scientists and engineers in this new century will undoubtedly be
conservation of energy and preservation of a sound and clean environment.
Great part of the effort to fulfil this demand will be re-use and recycled
materials using the most advanced methods available in order to avoid
or at least, reduce, possibilities of contamination and hazards which
can diminish the quality for next generations.
