The International Conference on Roll Forming Congress is a dissemination task of the sixth framework programme PROFORM project: "An innovative manufacture process concept for a flexible and cost effective production of the vehicle body in white: Profile Forming"
The PROFORM is a research project that brings car manufacturers, component, tooling and equipment suppliers together with universities and research institutes for the development of a new engineering and manufacture concept, based in a built to order system for reducing lead time and costs in producing high technology transport components for vehicle bodies.
The call for papers is oponed and based on the follow topics:
- Flexible Roll Forming
- Numerical modeling, simulation and optimum design
- Lubrications
- Control systems
- Roll forming of advanced materials
- Profile design
- Roll forming machines
If you are interested in presenting a paper, pls. send us your abstract of 150 words to the adress - mlg@labein.es - Ms. Mª Luisa Gorostizaga
Note very clear the tittle of the abstract, the complete list of authors and 150 words (summary). Remember that the english is the offcial language of the conference.
Abstract acceptance notification will be on 17th March 2009. The reception of the abstract will be confirmed by e-mail.
